Zeiss LSM 880 with Airyscan FAST

 

Description:

Zeiss Axio Observer 7 equipped with LSM 880 scan head and Airyscan FAST module.

With Airyscan you will be increasing the resolution of your imaging far beyond that of a classic confocal point scanning microscope. You can resolve 140 nm laterally and 400 nm axially, at 488 nm – without sacrificing sensitivity.

LSM 880 with Airyscan delivers up to 27 fps at 480x480 pixels in Fast mode, thus giving high acquisi­tion speed, sensitivity and superresolution that you need to answer your scientific questions.

Description:

Inverted Leica DMI6000B microscope set up for live cell imaging and uses the property of total internal reflection to illuminate fluorophores within the evanescent field of the sample. This enables efficient detection of fluorescence within regions close to the sample/glass interface with a high sensitivity, which minimizes the damage to living cells.
